Thread: Music Manager won't recognize Ifp in XP

Also had to end process from ArcSoft TotalMedia - TMMonitor.exe. Check compatibility with any music management software.

Don't know if this will help, but I had a similar problem with ifp895 refusing to connect on any Xp computers (had worked fine on old computers with Win 98). I even tried installing Win98 on the new computers. Nothing worked.

I then changed the USB cable, and everything was fine. Seems the iRiver USB cable (the one with the cylindrical attachments (ferrite cores) on either side of the cable has something to do with transfer???

Let me know if the problem's solved (for the future when I'll need to reinstall Xp myself!)
